Local Files Issue on my desktop/syncing to my phone

Local Files Issue on my desktop/syncing to my phone

So, the desktop spotify app all of a sudden won't pull in any local files. I turned off all sources of local files and re-added the ones I want. I deleted spotify and re-installed it. Nothing works. It shows the song counts and hours of music available but won't show any actual songs. This has been an issue for a week or two.

Has anyone experienced this before, and if so, how can I fix it?

Thanks!

I too am having this issue.

I'm also having issues adding local files. It takes forever for it to find anything new I added, and I can't drag and drop them in.

very clearly people are having this issue. it sucks. i pay my premium fees so that i can sync up playlists/files from spotify/itunes into one device, my phone. i want all my music in one place. this is still an issue for me. it shows me how many songs in mylocal files, but it won't actually let me access them through spotify. this kind of pisses me off that not one person from spotify has reached out to help, and if i keep trying to find a number or email address from someone from spotify and you can't find anything. you get this support community that spotify clearly gives no **bleep**s about or some bs help faq's that have no good info either. this sucks, i'm about to quit spotify because they clearly don't give a **bleep** about their users.

My desktop and phone were never connected and there was nothing I could do to make them integrated.

Last week all my phone music and playlists were lost and only playlists I had made at work were left on there.

Absolutely gutted - is there a way I can recover the old ones?!
