Recently Played Artists not updating!

I just posted a similar thread in "Newcomers and Contributions", it was my first ever post and I now realize this may be a better place to post it. 

For the last 3-4 weeks my Recently Played Artists has not updated, nor has anything on my account page. Additionally, when I look at my friends profiles, I haven't seen any changes in their Recently Played Artists either. This is annoying for a multitude of reasons, but mainly just because I frequently looked at my RPA when I wanted to remember what I was listening to a couple days prior. I listen to playlists, but often I'll just listen to 1 artists' works, which almost certainly put them on my RPA (which works as a "top played artists" too in that sense). I also like to see what my friends have been listening too when I'm away from my computer, which would generally show up in their RPA as well. Moreover, another issue that I've started to notice is that sometimes my live feed will say no one has been on in, say, 4 hours... but if I close Spotify and reopen it (which takes 20 seconds), suddenly a handful of people are on and other had been listening to music in the last 4 hours. My computer is always connected to wifi and I had never had this problem before a couple weeks ago. These may not be important problems in regards to the funtion of Spotify, but the main reason I like using Spotify over just going down an endless iTunes list of music is the connectivity I have with my friends, which is almost none right now unless I'm sitting and watching the live feed which I don't have the time nor care to do...

My recently artist don´t updated since weeks ago. The connectivity that I have with my friends is also for me a fundamental reason why I use Spotify, but this doesn´t work for me since January update. I have the last version now and I still have the same problems: my recently artist don´t refresh, the activity of my friends in the right column doesn´t refresh, sometimes I can´t acces to the artist pages and often Spotify stop when I´m using it. It´s very frustating and disgusting pay for something that doesn´t work perfectly. I´m Premium user and I have this problems in the desktop app for Mac and in the Android app too. I hope that Spotify resolves all this mistakes as soon as possible or maybe the users start a massive exodus...

Thank you, akuba. It seems like a trivial complaint since the music part of Spotify (the main function I suppose) still works, but what sets Spotify apart is the social aspect, which seems to be an even worse for you! I really hope Spotify addresses this by the next update...
