Scan a file with a list of songs and add them in my Spotify (no local files)

I really like my friend's songs but he doesn't use Spotify.

He exported for me a txt file of all his songs from iTunes. Is there a way my Spotify would scan the file and find the songs for me? I can manage to have an excel file from it if that helps. I remember when I suscribed, Spotify scanned some of my music accounts (which I don't remember) and suggested me to save the songs from there. I'd like to have the same feature but from a file..

And I don't want to copy/paste/search each song title .. 🙂

I don't think Spotify directly supports importing from txt files. But you can try using http://www.playlist-converter.net to convert you playlist to spotify links and then copy/paste them in a new playlist.
