Song takes a while to start and pauses mid song as if it's buffering

Recently I've noticed that with all my devices sometimes Spotify will take like 10 seconds to start a song after I double click one and even after it starts it will only play for about 15 seconds before it stops - almost as if it were taking time to buffer before playing and then buffering mid song. My Internet speed is perfectly fine so I don't really think that is the issue here. Playing songs through the web player seems to work just fine but I don't really care for the web player so it's kind of becoming a nuisance. This has only been happening within the recent months and it is driving me crazy! Is anyone else experiencing this issue or have any clue on how to fix it?
