Unable to stream songs

Whenever I try to stream a song, nothing happens.

Hey there,

 

Sorry for your issue. Please try the solutions below:

 

- Can you try restarting your machine?

- Can you do a brand new installation of the Spotify app?

- Can you try accessing Spotify on another network?

- Can you try streaming using the web player?

 

Let me know what happens.

Restarting my computer does not fix it, redownloading Spotify does not fix it, and accessing Spotify on a different network does not fix it. As for the web player, it does not even load on my computer, as shown in the screenshot below.

Thanks for the reply. It seems like there is some kind of restriction to the Spotify network in your area as you can’t even access the web player.

- Can you try accessing to the Spotify app and the web player using a VPN?

- Is there a possibility of you having some kinds of restriction to internet on your country or your router? Where are you trying to access Spotify? Public or home internet?

Same problem.

I do not have a VPN.

I am on my home internet in Pennsylvania, and there are no restrictions on it.

Yes, I am able to stream songs on my iPhone 5S.

Can you try updating your machine to macOS Mojave via the App Store?

My computer does not have enough space to update.
