Upstream request timeout?

Solved!

Upstream request timeout?

The web player link brings me to a white page that says upstream request timeout. The website said it was fixed in October but it is a new issue for me.

My Question or Issue

When I share a link to a show, https://open.spotify.com/show/5Br8ASZBZdmzKGwFKRbQ4A if a user goes to that link in a browser and does not have the Spotify app installed or is not logged in they get an "upstream request timeout" error. This is very confusing and likely turning away potential listeners. Is there a way to have it show a login/registration page rather than that error message?

The issue appear to have corrected. I am no longer getting an error message.

Me too

does this every 2 minuets bro **bleep** spotify just fix it ??

My Question or Issue

I cannot log in to the desktop app on MacOS. I get the error code "auth:2"

However I'm able to log in at the web-browser version as well as with the iPhone (iOS-) App with the same account name/password.

Already reset the password but error stays the same.

Hi:

I had a major system crash that necessitated a full hard drive erase, Mac OS system reinstall, and Restore from a backup 

In all the chaos, Spotify no longer works: “no healthy upstream”.

Specifically, using the web (Edge) interface, I can log in [1 & 2]:

But when I try to access music I get “no healthy upstream” [3]:

How do I restore access to music?

Many, many thanks!

PS Mac OS 15.2 on a Silicon M1 MBP running Microsoft EdgeVersion 132.0.2957.115 (Official build) (arm64)

Today I've encountered 'No Healthy Upstream' twice, on the webplayer.  I cannot currently stream my subscription

Hey folks,

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Could you send us the info @MihailY asked for previously (if you haven't already)? We'll take a closer look.

We'll be waiting for your replies.

I just had to turn my ad blocker off and back on.

On the campus of a canadian university and I got ''no healthy upstream'' on the web player. Used to work just fine before. Installed the Windows app and all is resolved.

Same issue for me.

i just got this problem and i'm on a chromebook and i have no idea hoe to fix it because i cant get into spotify in  any way 😞

Spotify on Web player (on Chrome) showing this error everytime I try to sign in. Anyone else with the same issue?

upstream request timeout

same here.

Multiple podcasts giving this error message on https://firstmark.com/community/the-mad-podcast/

Tried multiple browsers and internet connections, and doubled checked the embed codes.

Currently in Google Chrome on OS 14.6.1

Tendo o mesmo problema: "Upstream request timeout". Com resolver?

I am attempting to embed 3 albums and 3 individual songs from Spotify (using the Share > Embed option generated from Spotify Desktop) on a page on my website and invariably the majority of the time at least one of the 6 embeds will result in an "upstream request timeout" error. I am on a very fast fiber connection. If I refresh the page it will frequently result in the problematic embed loading, but resulting in at least one (but often multiple) of the other 6 with the upstream timeout request error. I'm getting the errors on Chrome (Mac), Safari (Mac), and Safari on iOS (see attachments).
