Hey @Willbusmaxi,
Thanks for reaching out!
If you're seeing this message, it's possible that you may have enabled the app's in-built offline mode. This prevents Spotify from using the online data even if your device has an active internet connection. What I'd advise is checking if the setting is toggled on. If it's off, toggle it on and off again just to be sure - in the Apple menu at the top of the screen click Spotify and select Offline Mode.
Hope this helps! Keep us posted 🙂
Thanks for the update @Willbusmaxi!
In that case let's try some troubleshooting. You can try changing the proxy type to No proxy from the Settings menu on the login screen to see if that helps. Also, make sure that the Spotify app is allowed through your firewall. You can temporarily disable it to see if you'd be able to log in then.
Something else you can try is editing the hosts file and removing any lines with "spotify" in the address. There's a detailed guide on how to do that here.
Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes 👍

while that worked to some extent, it just refused to show all my playlists and account. I tried logging out and logging back in but that has just put me with a message that reads, 'A firewall may be blocking spotify, please update your firewall to allow spotify. Additionally, you can try changing the currently used proxy settings. (Error Code: Client_Token:101). Hope this makes sense,
regards
