"Add to playlist" doesn't work on mac version.

My Question or Issue

Clicking on the add to playlist/ add to liked songs on the mac client of spotify does nothing. If I get a song recommended by smart shuffle and i wanna add it to my liked songs playlist I have to go to my phone and click on the button there, after which it works and updates immediately even on the computer.

I am unable to add to liked songs on my computer (macbook). I can add to other playlists and it syncs, but any song I like never actually gets to the folder, and songs I like on my phone don't update to the computer.
