Automatically skipping over songs and saying the songs aren't available

Automatically skipping over songs and saying the songs aren't available

I am using spotify on a windows 10 laptop and have spotify premium. Whenever i try to play any song, it just skips over it. Nearly every time I open spotify, a message in a blue box appears at the top saying "This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it"

This has been happening since yesterday, and for a while now, everytime I start my computer, I get an error message from spotify. I have tried restarting my laptop and restarting windows audio and selecting my speakers as default. I have no problems on any other devices i have used spotify on.

Every solution to similar issues other spotify users have had is to click on a link to go back to an older version. This has worked for everone else, but I can succesfully download the old version, but when I try to open it, a message pops up saying "The Spotify application is not responding"
