Disable the Mini-Player on the Web-Version

Disable the Mini-Player on the Web-Version

Hi Guys

switched on my Windows 10 from the Desktop-Version to the Browser-Version. It works, but now I get/see every time a Mini-Player in the left upper corner for about 5 seconds when I press Pause/Play or e.g. if I change the volume. How can I deactivate this Mini-Player?

Thanks and kind regards

Dean

Hey @Deanz, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵

If I understand correctly every time you play, pause, or change volume the mini player opens up briefly.

Could you try clearing the cache and cookies for Spotify? Follow these steps to do the same:

  1. Open browser settings
  2. Head over to privacy and security settings
  3. Select site settings or site data
  4. Find Spotify.com or open.spotify.com and clear all data for it

Log into the web player again and see if the issue persists. Keep me posted. 🙂

Hi

Thank you for your support. I deleted all cookies and the whole cache incl.
the site settings of Spotify, but unfortunately it didn't work. So I still
see the Mini-Player (Banner) after change the volume, skip a song etc.

What else I can do, as it really bugs me!

PS: It's the Web-Browser Version and not the Windows Desktop-Version.

Thank you and kind regards,

Dean

Thanks for the details @Deanz.

Could you please share the browser name and version information? You can find it under the context menu on the top right corner and then click on Help -> About Browser. If possible, kindly share a screen recording of the same so that I can examine it more closely.

In the meantime, try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Please let me know the results. 🙂
