Hi Guys
I switched on my Windows 10 from the Desktop-Version to the Browser-Version. It works, but now I get/see every time a Mini-Player in the left upper corner for about 5 seconds when I press Pause/Play or e.g. if I change the volume. How can I deactivate this Mini-Player?
Thanks and kind regards
Dean
Solved! Go to Solution.
I figured it out. It was a general windows notification setting.
thanks anyway and kind regards,
Dean
Hey @Deanz, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵
If I understand correctly every time you play, pause, or change volume the mini player opens up briefly.
Could you try clearing the cache and cookies for Spotify? Follow these steps to do the same:
Log into the web player again and see if the issue persists. Keep me posted. 🙂
Thanks for the details @Deanz.
Could you please share the browser name and version information? You can find it under the context menu on the top right corner and then click on Help -> About Browser. If possible, kindly share a screen recording of the same so that I can examine it more closely.
In the meantime, try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Please let me know the results. 🙂
Hi
Thank you for your reply!
The browser is "Edge" from Microsoft (Version 130.0.2849.68). But, I tried now with Mozilla Firefox as well and it is the same. I think (unfortunately) that this Mini-Banner appears automatically when you use Spotify over a (Internet) Browser Version and not as a App resp. Desktop-Version.
Even over the Browser-Version you have the "setting" button, but unf. not the possibility tu turn off that Banner. (If you use the Desktop-Version you can turn off that).
PS: I found out, that you can change the duration of these "notifications" in the general "Windows-System Settings", but unf. you can just minimize the duration to 5 seconds, but not to turn it off completely.
Because I often change the volume, it is really annoying, even it is "just" for 5 seconds!
Thanks and regards,
Dejan
