Installation Issues with Spotify [Version 1.2.45.454]

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble installing Spotify [Version 1.2.45.454] on my new AI computer. Here are the issues I’m facing:

• Installation stuck: The installation process freezes partway through, and I have to force close it.
• Error messages: I’m getting error codes during installation, but I’m not sure what they mean.
• Compatibility issues: The Spotify app doesn’t seem to be compatible with my system, or it crashes immediately after opening.
• Slow performance: When it does install, the app runs very slowly and lags when playing music or browsing playlists.

I’ve tried reinstalling Spotify, updating my system drivers, and checking for compatibility issues, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experienced similar problems with this version of Spotify on an AI computer? Any tips or solutions would be appreciated!

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the troubleshooting you've tried so far.

Have you tried both versions of the app (from Microsoft Store and from our website)? Does the Spotify web player work normally?

Also, what's your current OS version? If possible, please send us a video of how things look on your end so we can investigate further.
