Is there really no way to make it not log you out of last.fm almost every time it does an update?

I have my account linked to last.fm because I wanted to track what I was listening to, but it seems like I can barely go a week before it disconnects and stops scrobbling.  Then usually by the time I notice several days have gone past.

Obviously this isn't the most important thing in the world, but it's pretty frustrating that the only way to make this feature work correctly is to go manually check it all the time to make sure it hasn't decided to stop working again.
