Maximize "Read Along" Section in Desktop App

Maximize "Read Along" Section in Desktop App

The Read Along section in the desktop app is too small. I'd like to be able to make it bigger or maximize it.

Hey there @digitalhobo

Thanks for getting in touch about this. We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

You can already maximize the screen while reading the lyrics. You just need to click on the arrows in the lower right corner:

Hope this helps. If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.

"Read Along" is not the same as "Lyrics". Moreover, lyrics can't be viewed at all unless the button is pressed, so the user wouldn't be saying it's too small if they can't see the lyrics; which I'm stating to confirm that the problem isn't lyrics.

I believe the original poster is talking about podcast transcriptions called "Read Along"; which is the same issue that I was dealing with that led me to this post. They appear in a small screen on the side and there doesn't appear any possible way to maximize the little window. That's probably why they posted this in "Ideas" because we would like the ability to maximize Podcast transcriptions, a new feature. Please and thank you 🙏

Below is a screenshot of my desktop while listening to a podcast:

Here is where the mic icon would usually appear (which does exist when listening to songs, but not podcasts):

Hey there @G-Unit88

Thanks for the clarification!

We're afraid it's currently not possible to maximize the podcasts' transcripts. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and will make sure to pass it onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience.

If you'd like to submit an idea about this, you can do it here. Just make sure to add as much info as you can. The Idea Exchange is a great way for us to see what our users are interested in and how many people like a certain idea. Check out this FAQ to learn more about it.
