Mojibake AKA Scrambled Japanese Text

Hey there so I just got spotify and its a pretty solid service (Save for some musicians I like not being on there) but I ran into a problem when I went to browse my local files, that being the dreaded Mojibake. For those not in the know its an error in encoding that results in Japanese text becoming garbled Latin characters. Here is an example from my files

Any chance this error might be fixed anytime soon? Like maybe add support for the UTF-8 and UTF-16 formats or fix them if they are already supported so I can actually see my music names ('ٮ ')

Would probably help those who listen to other counties music as well!

I've seen this reported before and a clean re-install fixed it for some reason. It's worth a shot!:
