My entire systems audio starts to glitch whenever spotify is playing.

Whenever I play audio on spotify it begins to glitch out my entire systems audio, not just the sound coming from spotify. I have tried many thing to fix the issue such as, disabling and reenabling hardware acceleration, restarting spotify, restarting my computer, redownloading spotify, and updating all possible drivers yet the but still presists.

I have this exact issue as well. I tried the same steps you mentioned but nothing seems to work. For me the audio level is increased for every other application (e.g. Discord) and I have no sound coming from Spotify. Sometimes there is also audio lag.

UPDATE: I think I have found a solution that works for me. Right click the speaker on your hotbar and click Sounds. From the playback section select your output device and go on properties. In the enhancements tab select disable all enhancements and in the advanced tab make sure "Allow application to take exclusive control of this device" is set to off. For me it seems Razer Synapse changed these settings without me noticing.
