My Question or Issue

New user question
Hi,
I'm a new Spotify premium user and I'm running out of resources for my local Spotify cache.
I read in a German computer magazine to delete a file at "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage".
However, on my PC there's no such path.
What I found is the folder ".SpotifyMusic_zpdnekdrzrea0" at "C:\Users\<my_username>\AppData\Local\Packages".
Now, is it safe to delete that folder?
Thanks for any advice!

Hi @ming_accnt,

Thanks for reaching out. Tinkering with the files directly can cause issues, so we mostly advise against it. Consider following the steps shown in the clean reinstall article and performing a full reinstall as shown to get rid of any corrupt data.

Hope this helps.

In the meantime, I figured out I can do all the settings about the cache using the Spotify settings. Here, I deleted the cache, and I also changed the offline cache location.
I apologize for my stupid question. Thanks for your patience!
