My Question or Issue

Estou tendo dificuldades ao escutar podcasts pelo Spotify no Windows 10. Quando escuto episódios pelo computador e vou usar no celular, consigo visualizar claramente os episódios que já ouvi. Porém, o contrário não acontece. Quando ouço pelo celular e depois utilizo o app pelo desktop, os episódios que já ouvi não aparecem como "reproduzido". Gostaria de uma solução para isso, pois atrapalha muito verificar o que já foi ouvido ou não. Sem contar que o nosso perfil precisa se conversar independente da plataforma utilizada.

Hope you don't mind us replying in English.

 

Do you observe this behaviour when both apps are open at the same time?
If yes, does it persist after a desktop app restart?

 

Should this be the case, we can try syncing your settings manually.
For this to work - log out of the desktop app and then back in twice in a row.

 

Another step we can take is to refresh your cache storage.
We can do so by deleting your currently saved cached data. To see how to do so - click here 🙂

There's no problem with replying in english. But I've already done all
these things and nothing worked. My apps on the desktop and on the cellular
don't talk and I hope it does, because it is horrible for me to listen to a
lot of podcasts on all platforms.

Does the same issue occur when using a different account on both devices? What happens, when you use a different internet connection, e.g. a hot spot from your phone to the desktop?

I don't know if it occurs in another account, because I don't have
access to others accounts. Another problem that happens is when I download
a playlist or podcast episode on my computer it doesn't show up on my
phone. and the opposite also happens. Another problem is that the different
systems do not talk even though it is the same account.

Thanks for the reply. Downloads are local only - you download something to a specific device in order to listen to it without an internet connection, but this of course applies only to that specific device. There is no way for this to synchronize between different devices. Regarding the original query about podcasts played on mobile not appearing as played on desktop, can you let us know if using a different network has any effect, as described by @Dian in his last post?
