My Question or Issue
With the new Spotify update on PC recently added date is gone, when i added a song with earlier versions it said "added one day ago" so i could sort after that.
attached a picture
thanks
Hey @zyrien, welcome to the Community 🙂
I'd suggest hiding your Friend Activity tab, you can do it like this:
1. click the menu dots (upper-left corner);
2. navigate to View and click on Friend Activity
Let me know what happens 🙂
Hi! Thanks!
Did that, still the same problem. If i install an older version of Spotify for Windows i get it back.
Thanks
What version of Spotify are you running and does this happen to all playlists you look into?
I would recommend reinstalling Spotify, it looks like it might be some program error causing this. See this article on how to!
Let me know how you get on 🙂
Did that, didnt work either.
Installed this version tho: spotify-1-0-57-474.exe and it works. But the problem is, when i reboot my computer or restart Spotify, i get the newest version.
That happens because Spotify client is auto-updating itself. 🙂
I'd like to know the version of Spotify this issue happens on. You can find the version number by clicking menu dots (upper-left corner) - Help - About Spotify.
Also, let me know what version of Windows you're on!
You can try disabling Hardware Acceleration (under menu dots - View), this might help too.
Let me know how it goes 🙂
Version: 1.1.0.237.g378f6f25
OS: Windows 10 Pro.
Didnt work with Hardware acc
Same problem on all playlists btw.
Thanks
I'd suggest installing the Windows Store version (search for Spotify Music in the Store), is the issue present in that version too?
Let me know 🙂
Same problem with that version too.
I can see new songs that i've added since i installed the newest version. I got a new song 2 days ago, but the other dates are gone.
I'd suggest checking if all Windows updates have been installed. There might be some drivers or other software that might need updating as well. 🙂
I have seen some peculiar issues solved by installing Windows updates.
Let me know how you get on!
Hello seb!
Don't know what made it work, but it works now.
When i started my computer this morning i can see every song i've added in the past.
I guess i have the latest spotify version: 1.1.0.237.g378f6f25
Thanks
