Hey there @Hatez123456789,

Thanks for reaching out!

Just to confirm, does this happen on any other devices that you use Spotify on? Do you notice any difference when changing to another network connection?

Also, would you mind running the PC in Safe Mode with Networking and give that a shot?

Should the issue persist, let us know the make and model of your device, along with the Spotify version.

Keep us posted.

Hi

Thanks for coming back to me.

It happens on different windows PCs(one is Windows 10 and other is Windows 11) and yes I've tried on different networks but the same thing happens, wired and wireless. My phone on the same the same network does not have issues but I don't want to view the podcast on my phone.

Can you explain to me what you would like to test by running my PC in Safe Mode with networking so that I can understand it better. Your application is literally the only thing that stutters or lags when playing video. Twitch and youtube are 100%. Is there a specific driver/update I need to look out for or even an event?

My one device model is custom built so various different parts. I can list that for you and the other device I tested on is an Asus TUF 15" Gaming laptop. 2023 model.

Hey @Hatez123456789,

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the shared info.

Usually, the safe mode is recommended to make sure no other processes or apps are affecting the proper behavior of the app as it starts the PC in a basic state running only limited drivers + the internet drivers. However, in case you cannot perform this action, we'd recommend clearing any entries which contain Spotify from the host files on your computer to see if it makes any difference. To do so, you can follow the instructions mentioned in this post (even if it's a different issue).

Also, in order to continue investigating the case, would you mind confirming if this happens with all podcasts you've tried or if it's just with a specific one? In the case of a specific podcast, could you include the link/URI in your next response?

Lastly, could you check if the Web Player has the same behavior? This will give us a better look at the issue.

We'll be on the lookout.
