Spotify in Japan

I used to use spotify in America but now I'm in Japan, and to be honest the service here is really **bleep**. The playlists are different and you can't even use the radio option. What good is spofity if you can't find new artists similar to what you already like? And they were really good at it. So I wanted to change my country settings back but its not working. I had spotify premium until a second ago so I know my card is working. Why can't I change my country settings? Also, why is it that the services are different from country to country? I used to love spotify but this is absolute bull**bleep**.
