Spotify suddenly quits. Press play won't work (goes to pause). Sonos is working...

So, I am getting really annoyed by the fact that Spotify quits irregular and very frequently over the last month. It always happens when I switch device (phone, tablet, laptop) or connection (wifi and 3G). I can press play, the track runs for a couple of seconds and then the play button is visible again.

Anyone else experienced the same? And more importantly, what is the solution?

I am getting a bit frustrated and would really not want to check out other services. I love Spotify a lot. But it must work properly to get my love.
