Unable to resume after pausing for a few minutes

Hi!

I'm on Windows 10 and have been experiencing this issue with my Spotify Desktop App for about a week.

Whenever I pause for a few minutes and try to resume the song again Spotify has already completely stopped playback and the queue is empty as well.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome!

If this started happening about a week ago, have you by any chance toggled any settings on your desktop? 

This could also be a cache-related issue so if you haven't already done this, I recommend giving Spotify a clean reinstall with the steps here. It helps resolve different performance issues.

Lastly, let us know if your desktop goes to sleep or screensaver after you've paused playback on Spotify as this could also be what's causing the described behavior.
