My Question or Issue

This is a bug report regarding the latest desktop version (1.1.58.820.g2ae50076-a). If you have exactly 7 public playlists the "SEE ALL" button is missing in the user's public profile section, meaning one of the public playlists do not show up and goes invisible, as the profile page shows 6 of them.

If you have 8+ public playlists, the "SEE ALL" button appears and all works. Problem comes with exactly 7.

I make two attachments:

First attachment ("Mobile"): My 7 public playlists shown in mobile.

Second attachment ("Desktop"): Public profile section in desktop. You can see 6 of my playlists but playlist "Para entrenar" is missing, and I can't access it because "SEE ALL" button is not appearing.

Hey @aleypandros,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

It'd be great if you can check whether your playlists are added to your profile .The easiest way to do is that by opening it on the Desktop app. You should see a count of all your Public and visible playlists. If you see the option "Add to Profile" when you open the settings for a playlist, this means it is currently private and that's the reason why it's not visible to other users.

Here is how it works:

If a playlist is added to your Profile - it will be visible and accessible to other users who open your Spotify Profile. They can see and like the playlist.
If a playlist is marked as Public - it will not show on your profile by default, so users who open your Spotify Profile won't see it and won't be able to follow it, unless you specifically send them a link to the playlist. More information about Playlist privacy you can find in this Support Article.

In case you and your friends still can't find the playlists after you've added them to your profile - let us know. We'll be happy to help out further.

Hey there @BlancoLanda

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

If this doesn't do the trick, could you try if the same happens on a different PC? Also, would you check if you can see all your playlists on the web player?

Keep us posted.

Hi. I’m having a similar problem. I have 13 public playlists but it will only display 8 of them on my user profile.. I want all to display. I had more than 8 previously until I deleted some playlists. Why is it doing this? I reinstalled on my phone, I logged out and back in. It still only displays 8.

Hey @AD127,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

This type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device from previous versions. In this case, we'd recommend  performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. This will give us a better look at the issue.

We'll be on the lookout.

I've tried on several devices. All show only 8 playlists.  Check here...

Hey @Alphawolfe,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

We've checked the link that you've sent and the number of playlists is 10, not 8. Screenshot for visibility below.

Is this the correct number of public playlists that you have?

Keep us posted.

Hi, I'm experiencing a similar problem. i've made 8 public playlists and I can see only 7 (the most recent one has always been  missing). No one else can see this playlist either. A clean reinstall on two devices didn't work. Could you please advise?
