Hi there @rodmusicnow!

On the desktop app, the Recently played tab should be located in the Queue:

Note that the option isn't available on the Web Player yet. If you don't see it on the desktop app as well, try logging out and signing back in - this should trigger a refresh of the app that may help here. You can also try a clean reinstall of Spotify by following the steps in this article.

In case the issue persists, please share a screenshot which shows how things look on your end, along with the exact version of Spotify you're running so we can investigate further.

Cheers 🤘

Thanks for the feedback, i can see the recently played tab next to the queue, but still i prefer the "recently played" section where i could manage the albums and artists i was "discovering" before i would add them to the library or not. will this section come back or is it permanent now?

Hey @rodmusicnow,

Thanks for your reply.

For better or for worse, nothing is permanent and user feedback is one of the main drivers for any changes to the interface, so we appreciate you taking the time to share yours.
