if the "friends activity" bar is not present on the screen, the lyrics are no longer synchronized.
Recent problem after last update

Thanks for the post.

We tried reproducing this on our end, but didn't get the same results. Can you please make a short screen recording and upload it with your next reply. Also include your Spotify app version.

We'll investigate this further.
