A suggestion that could potentially make a significant positive impact for users who may be struggling with mental health issues.

Currently, when terms like "suicide," "self-harm," or similar phrases are searched, users can view playlists with distressing themes, such as "songs to kill yourself to" or "suicide playlists." This content can be incredibly disturbing and could negatively affect those who may already be in a vulnerable state.

My suggestion is for Spotify to implement a support feature that would display a message such as "Help is available – speak with someone today" when sensitive terms related to mental health struggles are searched. Along with this message, it would be helpful to provide information about national helplines, such as the Samaritans, Lifeline, or similar support services tailored to the user’s region.

This feature would be simple to implement yet could make a substantial difference. By gently guiding users toward supportive resources, Spotify could play a part in creating a safer online environment and fostering awareness around mental health support.

I truly believe it aligns with Spotify's commitment to user wellbeing and could have a meaningful impact on countless lives.
