A “clean” filter for Liked Songs

A “clean” filter for Liked Songs

When listening to music at work I cannot shuffle my liked songs since many are explicit. It would be helpful with if a filter could highlight only clean music within my library.

Hey there @cfcote,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! We hope you don't mind us moving your post, as it fits better here.

You can switch off explicit content directly through the app. When explicit content is switched off, anything with an explicit tag is automatically skipped and you won't be able to play those tracks. Once you've switched it on again, all tracks in the list will play as usual.

Head over to this page to see how to switch off explicit content and for a bit more info on how the feature works.

Hope this helps! If you need anything else, just let us know.

Parent mode that mutes, bleeps or skips songs with expletives words.

Having an icon which turns this one means you don't have to ban all songs with expletive words as an adult I want to be able to listen to them. But if I turn this icon on when I'm with my children I can still enjoy the song / playlist without worrying. Ideally it's just mutes the word but other option is to just skip the song completely.

I love Spotify I use it every day all day! The only thing I would love to see is a SFW mode where if I'm listening to an album the SFW mode will skip or find an edited version any Explicit songs
