Using the "free" account, groups of ads are supposed to play once every 30 minutes. Often, but not always, the ad group plays once every 2-3 songs. Sometimes restarting the app helps, sometimes not. Sometimes clearing the app cache helps, sometimes not. Sometimes interacting with the ads helps, sometimes not. (This is problem has been around for quite a while.)
