My Question or Issue

Hello.  I typically use Spotify by asking Alexa to play <song/artist/album/playlist> from Spotify on either my Echo Dot or my Sonos One.  It's been working flawlessly until tonight.

Tonight, I get the response, "Spotify music is not supported on this device".

I've tried removing the Spotify skill for Alexa and re-adding it.

I've tried removing the Spotify service from Sonos and re-adding and re-authorizing it.

I've tried rebooting and hard-resetting the Echo Dot.

None of these things work.

Using the Sonos app or using Spotify's play connect feature, I can play to the Sonos device.

Please help me fix this Alexa skill so I can resume using my voice to play Spotify!

Hey @Orbsitron,

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

We suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app to make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick - can you send us a recording when you try to connect?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
