An Album appears in search - but "not available in the current region"

I've been waiting like a mad new Nightwish "Endless Forms Most Beautiful", and it appears now in search results

Why "Cant' play this track - Sorry it is not available in the current region"?

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.

Spotify has no control over what content is available.

Sometimes it is only available in certain countries, while access is blocked to others.

So you just list everything to give an impresison that your services has A LOT music available, so that a potential new client makes a subscription, regardless do you like EVER have it available through your service?

I'd call that misleading marketing. WHY do you list albums that are actually not available?

The album is giving you a region error?

Artists sometimes restrict their album from certain countries. Spotify cannot control that.

United States

Malaysia

Singapore

Hong Kong

Australia

New Zealand
