Audio quality adjustment greyed out

I recently reinstalled Spotify on my Android phone, after it started acting up. Now, I cannot adjust the audio quality setting. It is set to automatic, and the adjustment for both streaming and download is greyed out. I have reinstalled the app, again. I have also cleared the cache. This has not fixed it. It is also greyed out on my wife's phone, but not on my daughter's phone. I can also adjust it on the desktop app, just not on my phone. My plan is Premium family, so I should be able to adjust this, and was before I reinstalled it. What's the deal?

Edit: solved. Android had turned on IT'S data saver in prior update, was not aware of this. Fixed it.
