Audiobook sound issue

I have the same problem, but with earbuds on my Android. I'm trying to listen to 'The Dog Stars", and EVERY sentence is clipped like half a second. It's ludicrous. I'm looking for a fix, but I haven't found any yet. I can't continue listening because, like you said, you have to work at understanding what is being read. It's very frustrating & the book is no fun to hear at all.

• Did you notice if this behavior started after an update of the app?
• Does the sound issue persist with music/podcasts?
• Does this behavior persist across devices?
• Do you experience sound issues without the earbuds on your Android device?
• Have you performed any troubleshooting steps so far, such as a clean reinstall for example?
