Blurry album artwork in the Apple CarPlay app

Solved!

Blurry album artwork in the Apple CarPlay app

I currently drive a Mazda CX-90 and the album artwork used to be very crisp and detailed. In the last few months, the album artwork has been very blurry. Is there a fix for it? Am I the only one experiencing this? At first I thought it was my eyes, but my kids (who sit in the back) asked my why the artwork is so blurry. Please help!!!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

We haven't seen reports about this, but no worries, let's check the situation. In this case, it's best to try some troubleshooting steps to check if the situation can be resolved. First, go to the Spotify app Settings > Storage, and select the option Clear cache. Then log out, restart Spotify, and check if that helps. Additionally, disable any Battery Saver or Lower Power mode from your device's Settings.

If none of those help, we recommend reinstalling Spotify. No worries, you won't lose any content, but you might need to download your offline music again.

Lastly, could you try using a different phone to connect to the car and check if you have the same issue?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply!
