Changing Primary Devices

Changing Primary Devices

I have my account on two different phones, one personal & one work. The work phone is occasionally used by others, who have started using my account. That's fine, it's rare & I don't mind. The part that bugs me is that if I want to kick them off and listen on my personal phone, it doesn't give me the option. They can see when I'm streaming, but I can't see when they are. I'd like to have full control from my original device. I've tried everything from logging out and back in, reinstalling the app, etc. Any thoughts? TIA!

Hello there! Well I'm sorry but Spotify is for personal use only and that's the reason why you may be having problems.

Hello @akaMEGO , welcome to the community!

Did you try changing your password here and then clicking "log out everywhere" here? It would reset the devices you are logged into so they will not be able to access your account once they are log into your account. Also, when they are listening on your work device, does it give your the option to listen on your device instead?

Hope this helped 🙂
