My Question or Issue

This issue is using the web app (saved as a shortcut) not using the Android app.

So, I often have to pause the music (say turn it off for 2hr of meetings or something), but don't actually close the window.  Then when I come back to the web player, and press play, it doesn't actually play.

Sometimes the play button does work, but song selection doesn't.  I am able to continue playing the current music, but I can't pick a new song, even though I am able to continue browsing in the app.

I am not sure if this is Chromebook specific, but my Chromebook is the only device on which I rely on the web app.

Hey there @benjito,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We'd suggest you clear all the cache. Then you can try with another network and with another browser.

If that doesn't help, you can check this info and follow the steps.

Keep us posted! If you have questions, you know where to find us.

Petya, thanks for getting back to me. I will need a couple of days to verify that this addresses my issue, as I need to leave the web player on pause for a couple hours to even produce this issue.

Looking at the suggestions at the link you sent, I unfortunately don't have the option to switch browsers, as Chrome is the only supported browser on ChromeOS. However, I can assure you that the browser is fully up to date!

Okay, I tried clearing the cache. It does appear that I'm still having issues. Also, I have lost some of the assets like the "play" button.

The attached video shows me trying to pick a new song (by Sam Smith), but my web player continues to play the Billy Joel playlist I picked a while ago. Your feedback system says .mp4 is supported, but then says .mp4 is not supported. See attachment.

I will continue to use my workaround (close the window and re-open), but I just wanted to pass along this information in case it helps you fix the bug.
