Since a couple of days the music credits in Spotify are no longer visible in my account. Does anybody know how I can restore them? Thanks. Dirk
Hello
It seems like the credits on IPhone doesn’t fully appears. Let me explain myself.
I own an iPhone 15 and a colleague of mine owns a Samsung Galaxy S22, and when I want to view the credits, for exemple, of Billie Jeans by Michael Jackson, my Spotify just shows me the source. And my colleague’s Spotify shows him the entire credits (songwriter, performer, producers…)
I’ve already tempted to upgrade the app, uninstall it a re download it, but nothing seems to work.
I need those kind of information due to my work, and I know for a fact that this problem is specific to IPhone and that it happened few days ago since I’ve always been able to see all credits properly.
does anyone have an explanation or better : know to solve this problem?
I’ve contacted the support of Spotify who redirected my here.
thanks
Same issue since 4 days now! What is going on Spotify? Can someone give us an answer? Thank you!
Yeah same for me
Hi folks! Thanks for letting us know about this and welcome to the Community.
To start, keep in mind that songs credits are added by the artist or the rights holder and it's expected for some songs to not have any credits if they weren't added when the content was uploaded to Spotify. That being said, this shouldn't be happening with all songs.
To have a better context, we'd like you to confirm the following:
On another note, It's worth trying a clean reinstall on your affected device (if you haven't). If the issue continues, please let us know the make/model and OS of your device along the current Spotify version.
We'll be waiting for your response.

My Question or Issue
A few days ago, the credits for some songs disappeared, both the artist and the songwriter are missing in Hungarian. Even when switching the app language to English, they are not visible by the Hungarian songs (e.g., https://open.spotify.com/track/6DXBuh7nkFfCCutMnUrPmc?si=11cd609f38974dc8). However, for example, the credits for the Bee Gees' Stayin' Alive (https://open.spotify.com/track/5ubvP9oKmxLUVq506fgLhk?si=f30d5aa13088424f) also do not appear when the language is set to Hungarian, but they are visible when switched to English. The issue persists on the mobile iOS and Android apps, the PC desktop app, and the web player as well.
Same here. Where are you guys from? Does it work in some countries?
Hi, I am a recording artist and I also noticed that credits to some of my songs are not visible on Spotify. I don't know if the problem is with my distributor or with Spotify. I'll contact my distributor to try to get some updates.
The credits for 95% of the songs on Spotify have disappeared, both for independent artists and major labels artists. Songs where previously all the information was properly documented. Reinstalling the application from scratch has not helped.
Please, fix it. It's very important for artists, songwriters and producers.
Same here! No credits available on iPhone or desktop app. I'm from Germany. Seems to be a global problem.
Hi, all my artists credits songs were deleted by Spotify why?
All my albums were published regularly with all the informations

My Question or Issue
This happens in all songs, also in the Windows desktop app, so in a very different device too. Maybe a couple of weeks now. Most certainly a bug.
I use an iPhone and also the Windows Desktop App. Strangely, some songs still show me the credits on the Windows Desktop app, but this seems to be the minority. Out of five songs I've saved, only one had the credits still present. For all other songs, the credits will now just be blank or stay empty.
Examples:
Chima Ede - "65 Wedding" doesn't show any credits anymore: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/3i18wVaqTnQrrvP86IVvg1?si=57e3f04804e04667
FOURTY - "S KLASSE" doesn't show any credits anymore: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/0hzVdO1W1w8RvPlWh84A9w?si=85cac504c9404353
Armin van Buuren, Louis III - "Part Of Me" doesn't show any credits anymore: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/4R3uyQZfenTDEgEwhk71Qm?si=befbdf6416de46ba
SOPHIE - "Faceshopping" doesn't show any credits anymore: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/2rN1ODOsaNfYu782rw36jR?si=709ee53464424d41
Interestingly, Endor - "Pump It Up" does show credits still: https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/track/0GiwV6v3AgJfdu59tj719Y?si=cf9f7e26da9a4a04
Tested this on Windows Desktop App.
Here's an example. In the Credits pop-up, all values are replaced with dashes.
Now it seems to have fixed itself, can anyone confirm this?
Hey @rubs,
We can confirm that a fix for this has been deployed, we're happy to hear that it has reached you and you're able to see the credits again!
Anyone still experiencing this issue, just make sure that your app is up to date.
Cheers,
