Devialet Dialog Phantom. Stream stops randomly

System: Devialet Dialog w. 2 Pantom speakers
Spotify Connect (Spotify Premium) integrated.
The stream stops randomly within playlists or albums and does not recover which is extremely annoying and frustrating with these high end speakers when listening to good music. The Spotify app shows the somg continuing for a while; usually until the end of the song.
With Tidal (also directly streaming to the Phantom) there is no issue despite high data rates of high res audio.
What's the issue? I've read similar posts for e.g. Volkswagen audio systems where the same phenomenon happens.
