Digitradio 631 no longer supported?

Solved!

Digitradio 631 no longer supported?

Hello, I own a Digitradio 631 radio from TechniSat. For several days now, connecting to the radio via Spotify Connect is not possible. The radio appears in the list of available devices, I click it but the connection does not happen. I also noticed that my device is not listed in connect.spotify.com/#devices. The Spotify software version on the radio is HEAD-v3.71.50-g06c06f13. Is my device no longer supported? If so, what can be done about it?

Hey @grzenik,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

If the device is not listed on the supported devices web page, it's possible that this could affect its proper behavior when using the app. So in this case, we'd first recommend checking if it happens using a different Wi-Fi connection. If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.

Also, if your Digitradio has a Bluetooth or AUX connection, would you mind connecting it to your phone using those connections instead of Wi-Fi to see if it makes any difference?

Hope this helps, we'll be on the lookout.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I can connect via bluetooth to the radio and play music. That basically solved the problem. Thanks.

The solution with another wi-fi connection also worked.
