Functionality through sonos

I am sure someone out there has the answer for me so here's my question...

I'm new to Spotify.  When I use it on its own through my iphone, I have access to 'genres & moods' and other functionality.  I also have Spotify partnered with Sonos but using it this way I cant seem to find the same functionality.  Am I doing something wrong?  I should say that I'm a premium subscriber just in case that makes a difference.
