Galaxy watch - playback resumes when phonecalls are ended on the connected phone

My Question or Issue

Playback starts automatically on Samsung Watch when I hang up calls on my phone.

I have a samsung watch and, regardless of if spotify is running or not on the watch device, Spotify on the device will start playback every time I hang up a regular phone call. It is a 100% repro on my device, including when I hang up from calling someone before that person has answered.

The only way I can circumvent it now, is to explicitly change the playback device to another device such as my desktop.
