How do I stop someone from controlling my spotify via an API app

I suspect my app is being controlled by a homebrewed API application. I know who did it too. I have had numerous instances with my discover weekly where songs and artists I have blocked show up there from time to time. The song selection is suspicious and distasteful for personal reasons. I have changed my password and email. I have also disabled API applications access. How else can I secure my account?

Thanks for reaching out. What is the exact behaviour you have noticed, besides unusual song recommendations that is? Do you see any foreign devices in the Connect list? In any case, the steps you mentioned so far are correct, just remember to also use the "Logout everywhere" function before resetting your password.
