How do you make top songs playlist of year xxxx private?

There doesn't seem to be an option to make this private as you can with other playlists

If I understand correctly, you are referring to making Spotify-generated playlists private/public. Playlists that are not created or maintained by you.

In this case, you cannot change the visibility of these playlists because it depends on who created them in the first place. But what you can do is add/remove these playlists from your profile. If you head over to your on repeat playlist (just an example) and use the options to add to profile, it will be shown on your profile just like other playlists. You can easily remove it from there using the same set of options.
