Hey @chileanswiftie,

Thanks for reaching out!

Restart your device and make sure both your Instagram & Spotify apps are up to date. If they are but the issue persists, try removing your Spotify's cached data as shown here to see if that would make a difference. Taking things a step further - you can also perform a complete clean reinstall of the app, ensuring there are no leftover files from the previous installation.

Note: Performing the abovementioned actions will temporarily remove your offline songs. They will re-download the next time you open the app, according to your data download settings.

Hope this helps! Keep us posted 🙂

Hey Vasil, thanks for replying.

I did everything, but the option still doesn’t show up. I want to emphasize that I’m talking about the Instagram feature that shows what you’re listening to on Spotify in real time (in the Notes section), not about uploading stories or choosing a song that you’re not currently listening to.

Thanks for clarifying @chileanswiftie!

Sounds like you got to try one of the features Spotify and Instagram are working on.

Our tech folks routinely conduct a number of tests, some of which end up paving the way for a broader user experience while others serve only as an important learning. This means you might occasionally see something your friend doesn’t, or get a new feature to try temporarily.

Your feedback on this is valuable to us, thanks for sharing it here - we appreciate it. In the meantime, you can still manually add a song as a note in the Instagram app.

The Community is just a post away if something else comes up.

Cheers 🤘
