I turned on Allow Explicit Content, but why can't I hear swearing in songs?

The missing parts were annoying, so I set the Allow Explicit Content toggle on, but for some reason, the swearing is still inaudible and I can't listen to certain songs. How come?

Thanks for reaching out. The individual songs won't change based on your Explicit Content setting. If you play the clean version of a song, it will stay that way regardless if the setting is enabled or not. Instead, that setting determines whether content tagged as explicit appears in search and playlists and whether that content is playable. What's the behaviour on your end?
