Inconsistency between devices regarding new episodes

My Question or Issue

It's really frustrating that the desktop and mobile apps are not consistent in terms of presenting new podcast episodes. On the mobile app, I have a folder in the library called: New Episodes, but on the desktop app on the Mac, I don't. I have to click on the bell icon and only then I see it. I think this option should work and look the same on all device types.
