My Question or Issue

I can play my music without issue, but for a few months, I've been trying to play the Joe Rogan Experience and get nowhere. I've disaabled all adblockers (uBO and uMatrix). When I look at the Web Console (developer) I notice that when I click on the play button, I get "502 Bad Gateway" errors coming back to me.

This happens on Firefox and Safari. Any help appreciated!

Hey there @cmroan,

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help.

Can you let us know if it works through the desktop app?

It would also be great if you can try it out in a incognito/private window.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!

Live, love, laugh and listen to music 🙂

Hi @Jeremy, thanks for taking the time to look at it.

Sadly, the spotify app isn't distributed as a standard DMG, and uses a non-standard 'Installer' kind of system, which honestly I don't trust not to do bad things. Sorry,  but I like to have more control how apps integrate into my OS 🙂

I tried incognito and have the same issue as if I'm not incognito: content not available.

Perhaps this is related, but when I click on the green play button, when I'm NOT logged in, I get the promo track, but when I AM logged in, I get the errors.

Hey @cmroan,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Could you let us know if the issue persists when using a different internet network? Perhaps a mobile hotspot could be a convenient solution to test this. Also note that VPN is not officially supported, if you're using one, make sure to turn it off, as it can lead to issues like the ones you're describing.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on how it goes.
