[Mobile][Other] Play Songs on Repeat

• Maybe make it so that you can play songs on repeat without premium on mobile? Keep the rest of the premium features to premium, and I'm not saying to get rid of the whole premium idea. But here's my reasoning: people who are neurodivergent (such as myself) typically will listen to a certain song on repeat for days to weeks at a time, because our brains find dopamine from that song, and so we will play it on repeat to suck as much dopamine out of that song as we can, if that makes sense. I had Spotify premium, but I had to cancel it because of financial issues, but switching from playing one song on repeat to listening to a shuffled playlist had been really hard on my brain, and I'm sure its the same for other people who are neurodivergent and have this issue. I'm sorry if this is too much to ask, but it's just a small tiny feature, and it'd mean alot. You can still play songs on repeat without premium when you're listening on computer, but not from mobile? It doesn't make much sense, personally, and I can't just listen from my laptop all the time. Sorry if this is alot to request!!! Thanks for reading!

That being said, we'd like to add some insights. We can confirm this is expected behavior for the free experience on mobile. Keep in mind the free experience works differently in the mobile app. You can read all about it in this article.

You can still use the repeat feature in the desktop app or web player if your account is on a free service. We'd suggest reposting your idea, but taking into account what's already possible and making sure that the description has all the relevant info about the change you want to see implemented. Our team is actively reviewing the feedback about the experience for free users 🙂 so, we'd recommend to familiarize with our Idea Exchange Guidelines first.
