Hello,

I have the problem that I can no longer comment on podcasts. A friend has the same problem.

As a test, I created a new account. There, I get a comment field displayed for the same podcast, same episode.

Tested each time in the Android app. According to the info, each is version 8.9.62.566.

Old Account:

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Since the same podcast works on another account, it's most likely something on your main account causing the comments to be unavailable. This and other features can vary between countries, so check if maybe your main account was erroneously set to a different country. If necessary, you can update it and then it should work again.

My Question or Issue

I can't leave comments on Podcasts anymore. I had the ability to a couple months ago, June/July, but no longer have the Leave Comment field under Podcast episodes. I have reached out to a larger creator and he indeed does have comments enabled, and sent me a screenshot of where to do it at but that space on my app is just black. I haven't been able to find anyone else having this issue and the only articles about comment issues seem to be for creators dated mid July.

 

The files I've attached show the screen shot from the creator I emailed with the comment section available, and a screenshot of my screen showing I do not have that field.

I ALSO have this problem. I'm on a Duo plan, my wife's account can comment but after about a month ago, mine cannot.

That's kind of a cop out answer. You'd think there'd be a little better customer support, but that's millennials for ya, if the solution isn't on a wiki page in front of them, they're useless.
