Offline mode for third parties not supported in 64-bit SDK?!

Offline mode for third parties not supported in 64-bit SDK?!

Just recieved some bad news!

Unfortunatelly is the equalizer built-in in the iOS app quite mediocre. But I am using a brilliant 3rd party iOS app called SpotEQ to perfectly correct flaws in any headphones. This app has been the joy in my life since I found it as it enables me to create very precice EQ setting for all of my headphones and in-ear monitors with a fantastic end result. The possiblity to enable my subscribed music for off-line playback is a saviour as black spots on any mobile network is crippling any high quality streaming when travelling/moving in densly built areas.

After Apple's latest iOS update (10.1.1) the note popped up when starting 32-bit apps and the possible impact on the 64-bit platform, so I contacted the developer of SpotEQ asking about any plans of updating it. He said he reason he had hnot been proactive in updating to 64-bit was because the fact that Spotify's new SDK (the only 64-bit option) doesn't support offline playback at all, and until very recently was very buggy and lacked other key features. But He said his hand now is forced, because Spotify will be shutting down the old 32-bit service that currently powers SpotEQ.

There are plenty of alternatives today like Apple Music, Google and Amazon, Tidal, Deezer etc. but I wouldn't want to leave Spotify, but If I lose the possibilty to listen to prefectly EQd music offline then I am seriously considering moving to another service.

Please, please reinstate the support for offline content in the 64-bit SDK.
